St. James’ has two services of worship on Sunday
mornings:
8:00 a.m.
– a service of Holy Eucharist from the Book of Common Prayer, rite
2, with piano accompaniment.
10:00 a.m. – a service of Holy Eucharist, rite 2, with organ accompaniment. The Sunday School meets during the first part of the service, with the children joining their families for Communion.
On the first Sunday of each month, the children worship with their families in church for the entire service, taking on various roles such as reading a lesson or ushering.
Maundy Thursday, March 20, at 7:30 p.m.
- We are having a joint
service at Zion Lutheran Church, 301 Jefferson Ave., Bristol.
All are welcome.
Good Friday, March 21, at 7:30 p.m. - We invite Zion
Lutheran Church to join us for The Good Friday liturgy from the Book
of Common Prayer, with Holy Communion from the reserved sacrament.
All are welcome.
Easter Sunday, March 23:
8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. -We celebrate with Holy Eucharist, rite 2, at our
usual service times.
9:00 a.m. –
Holy Eucharist, rite 2, with organ accompaniment.
